- jôÏ38 text/markdownMß Yesterday I decided to mint a creator token called [Elvis Diamond Ideas - $EDI](https://relayx.com/market/188cbcd3d78c4e19ad4cde2c9721f5e94af59197b165ced0c52a2d00575ba419_o2) using [RelayX](https://relayx.com/) after seeing [this tweet from Jack](https://twitter.com/liujackc/status/1538180402640465925):  One thing to note is the lack of instructions. Everyone *should* mint at least one NFT or Creator Token, but you're going to have to show some proof of work yourself to get it done ð. On Jack's bio you'll see a link to [RelayX](https://relayx.com/), Bitcoin's first decentralized exchange. From the homepage you have to click on `Create` at the top which leads you to the [RelayX Minting Page](https://relayx.com/mint).  I've minted NFT's before so we'll focus on the process to mint a creator/social token which is a fungible token (select FT at the top) because they are all the same vs non-fungible tokens (NFT's) which can be different from each other.  For the cover image I chose the banner image that I use on my Twitter profile which contains a selection of some of my favorite NFT's that I own on Bitcoin from [Gopnikz](https://twitter.com/Gopnikz), [Lucho_ArtArg](https://twitter.com/Lucho_ArtArg), [PuggoSapiens](https://twitter.com/PuggoSapiens) & [Pewnicorn Social Club](https://mobile.twitter.com/iampewnicorn).  I titled the token `Elvis Diamond Ideas` because I wanted the token symbol (EDI) to be 3 character's long and it's also my initials. I chose a capped supply of 21,900 to represent the minutes in working 1 hour per day per year (365 x 60 = 21,900 minutes), using [Jack's model](https://relayx.com/market/1d3f1972c1c1029dcbe2a0d52e2059850296a27c6292fdff5cc53880d3266715_o1) as inspiration. I used the following description to let people know the token's purpose and finally chose a few emojis to represent the token. > Jiujiteiro, web dev, & CTO (Chief Tracksuit Officer) @Gopnikz. 1 EDI = 1 minute on my calendar. Fixed supply. Redeemed tokens can be reissued but maximum 365 hours of time a year (365 x 60 = 21,900 minutes). Working for $BITCOIN. I'm a web dev who specialized primarily on the frontend, Vue.js. I'm also a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and was once a high school math/science teacher. With the required fields filled out the `Mint` button below will become enabled and it showed me that I could mint this new token into existence for $0.0024 or about a quarter of a penny. Amazing.  When finished you can begin trading your token and can find it listed on your profile page.  On the `Sell` page you can begin to put some of your newly created token up for sale. I picked some nice round numbers and listed some orders at various sizes where 1 $EDI = 0.005 BSV (at time of writing this is ~$19.27/hour) put some orders up for sale for various sizes, tweeted about it and went to sleep.  Overall the process was pretty smooth but I've gone through the minting process on Relay before so I'm used to the interface already. I can see how a new person would be intimidated but hopefully this helps you through the process. One thing I didn't like was having to input one sell order at a time. After posting about this process on Twitter [Bitcoin Intern](https://twitter.com/1bitcoinintern) let me know that you can replace `market` with `multi-sell` in the address bar to list multiple orders at once which is a little clunky but it works. I also got an error when trying to edit the description after the token had already been created. I'm sure this will be fixed in the near future.
