  • jm Bitcoin SVMO A little update about the Hotwire PE ASIC pdf shares. Hi there fellas, I did a little more research after work and I realized that it's perfectly fine to share the links that they (the ASIC office) have sent me (refer to: https://asic.gov.au/about-asic/dealing-with-asic/using-our-website/copyright-and-linking-to-our-websites/) So take a look https://post.asic.gov.au/CustomerDropBoxR1/corresp?f=2d3437373339323038383.pdf&e=20190817&i=ASC0V22rH3G6E6wZ2oUlaAeDcdMTe1xIqtUSxqadRN1dHX0= https://post.asic.gov.au/CustomerDropBoxR1/corresp?f=2d3735333537393630323.pdf&e=20190817&i=ASC0+LTwDdhx6rMkO8W6QTW/ucOM9Nag1L4F08qa2yWgn/o= I bought that link for $57 + change, and I heartily thank everyone who donated. I am going to buy more links and hopefully write an article. I just want to make sure everyone understands. It's totally okay and aboveboard to read the pdfs. It's totally not okay to sell them (like I tried to do before I realized my error) and it's not okay to (in ASIC's words) pretend like you created these pdfs or falsify them, embarass the ASIC, or reproduce their logo. Basically, don't pretend you are the ASIC and don't trust links that are not .gov.au links. I came to a better understanding of copyright- it helps people trust the veracity of certain things. In this case, you know these documents are real. Anyone you share them with via files, should have no such conviction. There have been cases before of people pooling money (journalistic freedom) to buy these documents and share. Just don't use their logo. Don't reproduce these pdfs. Don't falsify them. Don't trust, verify.
